Beautiful vintage, Ford Transit Motorhome in Ireland needs new owner.

It breaks my heart to let this beauty go as I have had many great times in it by the ocean waves. I bought it in London in 1993. It has travelled Europe, lived in Cyprus for two years, has been all over Ireland but not driven much in last 4-5 years. It needs a new owner who will drive it more frequently and keep it dry and warm in the winter.

ENGINE

MK1, 3 litre, petrol V6. Good condition, overhauled in Summer 2008 (have receipt). Also converted to gas. Minor leak at exhaust manifold on driver side. Good runner. Loves to drift along at 50-55 mph.

BODY

Generally good, body work and re-sprayed in 2007. Has been inside and covered for last five

winters. Work needed to rust at junction of GRP roof and metal walls (see pics).

INTERIOR OF VAN

Beautifully fitted out in oak and oak faced plywood. Period 1970’s boat-type interior. Pop-up roof vent. Sleeps two, seats four. Drop-down table to create platform for bed. Good cooker with two rings, grill and oven. Stainless steel sink, foot pump for water. In-built water storage. Dry toilet. Fridge. Much storage. Radio and CD player.

Many spare parts, gas cylinders, new cover and manuals.
