For sale is a 1976 Mercedes 306 diesel combi.

This car was the up market rival to the VW campervan at it's time. it is very rare so when the moment came to buy this car i jump straight into it. I paid for
this car £2500 four years ago and at that time i had plans in
restoting here back to its forma glory. I alway wanted to take my kids
and family on long summer weekeds in the country side and taught this
would be the best car to that with. Sadly after 4 years i have not even
started the project. i have now decided it is time to let go and
someone else to do the restoration job on this amazing van.

Condition. This van was parked inside for the last 3 years only last
year did i take it out. so this is going to be its first
winter.Unfortunately i have no space to keep her inside. All the panels
on this van ismore or less rusted out and will need changing. Over the
many years this van has had several repairs but no good repairs. I will
start all over again if i was going to get it done. Every panel on this
car is rusted out and will need replacing. Note that these are more or
less flat panel and can be done easily. just time. the interior is
complete and has a kitchen with a small stove and seating area for a
whole family or even better friends. the appillances in the van are all
there but will need to be commissioned. The engine was runing when i
bought it but i have not tried starting it since. i will suggest that
it is serviced before. Please note that this van is diesel and engine
is still very strong. it also has bathroom, toilet, sinks, shower,
wardrobe, fridge, cooker, grill, oven, gas heater, bunks, lots of
storage.
