MERCEDES T1 BARIBAN AUTOBAHN 335, 1979
Converted from new by Bariban in Newton Abbot, Devon, this van has
covered less than 100,000 miles according to the mileometer. I saw it on sale locally in April this year.
I remember these vans when they were new (they were either white or yellow!) and I couldn’t resist the idea of
doing it up a bit. So far I haven’t done much apart from fitting a new battery and having an oil change and new
filters, and I’m gradually tidying up the bodywork.
However, I realise that I am not
going to use it enough to justify keeping it. The MOT runs to next February, and I’ve had the van looked over by
our local garage who didn’t find any particular problems. I’m looking for around £2,250
including the tax disc valid until April 2015. The van is in Dursley, Gloucestershire.
