Your Looking at our darling Chevy RV called Rosco.
Only 44773 miles covered and a new engine installed 1200 odd miles ago.
Rosco is a 1991 Chevy Mallard Sprinter.
It is a 6 berth. 2 over the cab, 2 at the rear and 2 children size where the dining table folds flat. Also available
at extra cost is the car dolly seen in the pictures. The car dolly enables you to take your car on holiday with you so you
don’t have to squeeze the chevy into the Sainsbury car park during your stay.
The car dolly is designed to
fold to accept low cars, like a mini but has a carrying capacity of 2000kg to cope with bigger vehicles say a LandRover.
The trailer is fully braked and steers.
I bought the camper two years ago as a restoration project. During
the restoration it has had a new 5.7l V8 engine installed and was converted to 240v by Gold RV. The stripes are new
and the pattern is kept on file at the graphics place should you ever need to replace parts of it. The wheel trims are
new and the tires have all the tread still to go. It’s immaculate inside and all the upholstery and carpet was
steam cleaned last summer.
The camper has three point belts in the front and lap belts in all the other seats,
including a floor anchor on the barrel seat for child seat anchorage.
It will cruise beautifully at 55mph towing a car
and 65-70mph without.
It has a CD player and radio that you can plug your iPod into also.
