WELDING INCLUDING NEW BOX SECTION TO CHASSIS - VERY SOLID

WELDING TO DRIVERS SIDE - LOOKS MESSY BUT SOLID

4 GOOD TYRES, ONE VERY NEW

IN DIRE NEED OF A RESPRAY

ALL NEW BRAKES IN 2008 EXEPT MASTER CYLINDER WHICH WAS FINE

SERVICED EVERY YEAR AT A COST MUCH MORE THAN THE VAN WOULD BE WORTH WERE IT NOT A CLASSIC.

WE WOULD GET THE CLUTCH DONE BUT TO BE TOTALLY HONEST I'VE LOST MY BOTTLE DRIVING ON THE MOTORWAY. THE VAN AT BRAND NEW WOULD ONLY DO 62MPH TOP SPEED AND IS NOW 36 YEARS OLD, BEAR IN MIND THIS IS NIGH ON A 2 1/2 TON VEHICLE PULLED BY A 54HP ENGINE. IT DOES 54 ON THE FLAT, 42 UPHILL.

FROM MANCHESTER WE HAVE BEEN ALL OVER IN THIS VAN IN 5 YEARS, GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL, DEVON, LONDON, LAKE DISTRICT,WATFORD, YORKSHIRE EAST COAST, WALES CLOCKING UP 20,000 MILES WHICH IS A LONG LONG WAY AT 50MPH I CAN TELL YOU.
FOR ANYONE WHO HAS NEVER OWNED A CLASSIC PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THE FOLLOWING:

BRAKING IS ALL FOOT PRESSURE. THE BRAKES ARE GOOD, BUT IT'S HARD WORK.
IT'S SLOW.
IT'S NOISY.
IT'S FUMEY.
IT'S GAS GUZZLY.
IT'S SO MUCH FUN.
POWER STEERING? NO. BIG STEERING WHEEL, BIG MUSCLES.
